Well this depends. If was a full scale war including air superiority and naval battles waged in Americas waters, citys and air space America would smash. If it was the same but fought in Russia, we’d do alright untill it was winter, where we’d most likely be destroyed since the Russian forces are used to fighting in sub zero temps and have extensively developed weapons specifically designed for arctic warfare.

If it was spec ops vs spec ops IE spetz vs green berret & SEALs we’d smash either way, out grounds or theirs.

Way of underestimating military technology. If either of the sides fired a nuke against the other satellites would’ve picked it up and sent ten nukes in return.

Also there’s no way a US/Russian aircraft would enter one another’s territory at war.

22 out of 100 targets downed with PAC3 in training exercises( 2002 ). If it came down to nuking innocent populace then both countries lose, unless Russia has a better air defense than USA...doubt it.

As far as ground forces, artillery and invasion tactics? I believe the USA has a superior elite force but the Russian elites far outnumber even the regular active duty in marines, UAF and army combined.( notice I left out the squids intentionally :P )

USA is the best, proven in every single skirmish around the globe, at annihilating targets with Artillery.
