I’m tempted to say Digimon if I was not unfarmiliar with them. I know they got universe busters but the Chaos Heart puts Count Bleck and or Dimintio on a threat to a multiverse(Mario Multiverse in the game).

Chaos Heart powers. Star Rod too I guess. Either one works. Besides that, in SMG Bowser only gets a headache from a supernova, something DBZ ain’t generating anything close to soon.

That wasn’t much of a Supernova . I’ve seen the clip, and it frustrates me when people use that as proof to over power the Mario-verse. These guys consistently die when the touch lava but a Super nova (from a moon sized star) only gives them a headache.

That’s fine, Chaos Heart still makes them a threat on a multiverse scale. Star Rod is pretty powerful too.
Also a moon sized supernova>>>>>>>Planet exploding.

That Supernova (more like an exploding white dwarf *being generous* apparently wasn’t that hot either if bowser could walk on the surface. And Mario/Luigi could enter its core.....
Its a toonforce feat (pretty sure it isn’t supposed to be taken seriously), Mario’s world is full of it.
And I assume you mean Manga DB (not including Anime and Movies) which would put them above planet busting range.

COnsidering it’s supposed to be a serious game I’d count it as serious. But other than that, It was just an example.

I don’t think any Mario game is all that serious, “Welcome! Welcome new galaxy!"

Well you got to understand it’s just how the universe works. Think classic Dragonball in a way. That’s kinda like what Mario is.

Which only reemphasizes my point unless you believe Goku went on the moon (when its widely believed here that he can’t survive in space).

Well he technically did go in to space with the rabbit dude. Also, Akira isn’t exactly known for being consistant. AT ALL.

Boss carrot, that was the scene I was referring to, if you think that scene was serious than it would make sense why you’d think Super Mario Galaxy was serious (not trying to be mean).

I’m not saying EVERYTHING was serious. But, You can’t say the whole game was a gag.

As far as the theme/plot goes, it was fairly serious (to an E rated Mario-esque extent) but the feats in the ending cut scene (and throughout the game)? Not really.....

Well, It is also for a younger audience so you can’t expect things to be overly serious like, say, the Frieza arc in DBZ or Hellsing.
