Zack vs Cloud

well i haven’t played crisis core but even still cloud was in fights as a kid as well back in his home town because he was tierd of being weak and felt that it was his fault tifa got hurt after her mom died so he and zack fought when they were kids and the fact that cloud beat sephiroth several times not just once or twice he stabed him after he beat zack after sephiroth went crazy then he got stabed by sephiroth and pulled himself up closer to him on his own sword and throw sephiroth into a wall then he beat him twice with rest of the party and then again by himself when sephiroth was at his max and zack only lasted a little while from what i understand when he was toying with him and then cloud beat sephiroth again in ac so anyway you look at it yes zack was good but nothing compared to cloud even if he uses the same move zack did and even if zack came up with it cloud has mastered it and uses it to its fullest no matter what sword he has

The buster sword is the best way better than the dividing sword

Zack wins. In swordsmanship, he was atleast was able to go toe 2 toe with Sephrioth at his most skilled. The only reason Cloud was able to beat Sephy was because of PIS. Heck in AC, Sephy didn’t barley used his skills, and Cloud was still outmatched. Compare Sephy in CC to Sephy in AC you’ll see the difference. Cloud however has will over Zack which might help him, but not for long.

well i really dont agree with the AC sword is better than the badass buster sword. the buster sword has honer and it means more than anything in the game. im a zack fan because cloud had a fucking team to help him. if zack didnt die, cloud would have.

Cloud was nearly catatonic at the time Zack died... anyone could have killed him then.

The whole point of the scene when Zack gets beat by Sephiroth, but them Cloud takes revenge (some what successfully), and then actually temporarily overpowers Sephiroth even though he is impaled on his sword is to show you that Cloud has something that Zack doesn’t, and that’s immense willpower and drive to save those he cares for.

Zack was 100% when he fought Sephiroth, and he lost miserably. Cloud, after considerably time and training, ends up beating Sephiroth one on one in AC when Sephiroth is now exponentially more powerful. I know his win is still PIS, but Sephiroth was frickin Godly.. In the reactor, Seph put a few dents in the walls and cut some thick pipes in half. In AC, everytime he swung, a building fell over.... I mean come on.

If Zack had lived as long as Cloud, then maybe he’d be better... but unfortunately Zack did not, and Cloud surpassed him.

Sure, Cloud’s great, but I can’t imagine him winning against Zack.

In CC Seph’s sword didn’t even touch those pipes and they still were neatly chopped off.

Well, I think that Cloud carries a part of Zack.In fact, I’d say that Cloud IS Zack in some way.Zack didn’t die.
Anyway, I think that Cloud is “better” 'cos he mixes the power of Angeal(who was inside Zack), Zack and his own experience as a fighter.In adittion, he killed Sephirot 3 times.3 times!But, he is so great BECAUSE OF ZACK.

cloud...despite the fact that zach may have originated the omni slash...advent children cloud killed Sephiroth TWICE.
